Privacy Policy We respect your privacy and are committed to its protection. We do not share, rent, distribute or sell your personal information to anyone for any reason. However, in order to service you properly (for example, to process your credit card transaction, give you access to your account, ship your goods) we must share limited information with third party vendors to allow them to perform their respective functions in servicing you. They are restricted to using this information for this purpose alone. You do not have to register with Girl Goods to browse our site nor do you need to register to sign up to receive our email updates. You only need to register if you are making a purchase. We will prompt you to register once you have selected your items and have elected to purchase them by clicking on "checkout." If you would like to register without making a purchase just click on "My Account" and follow the prompts, or go to "Register." The term registration is defined as providing Girl Goods with the necessary personal information in order to allow us to complete your order and service you, our customer, properly. Log-in or Registration Issues If you are having trouble logging in or registering, it may be that you do not have cookies and/or Javascript enabled in your web browser. Virtually all modern browsers support both cookies and Javascript; however, most browsers also allow you to disable these functions. Because all browsers operate differently, we cannot provide specific instructions on how to enable these functions in your browser. Please search the Help function of your browser for specific information. My Account You do not need an account at Girl Goods to browse our site, nor do you need one to sign-up for email updates. You may access your account by using your email address and your password. Only you have your password, and only you can access your account. If you forget your password, follow our prompts at "My Account: Sign-In" to retrieve it or go to "Forgot Your Password?" To change this and any other information in your account, just log on to your account and click "Modify My Account Information." Follow the prompts and don't forget to save your changes by clicking on "Save Changes." Payment Options Girl Goods accepts Visa and Mastercard, personal checks and money orders. We are unable to accept debit cards. We can only ship merchandise once personal checks have been fully cleared, a process which can take up to 14 days. Shipping, Handling and Transit Times Girl Goods products are shipped via the United States Postal Service. The shipping charge is based on the amount of your order, as follows:
There is an additional charge of $7.00 for orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Products are shipped within 3 business days of receipt of order if merchandise is in stock and should arrive 3 to 7 business days thereafter. Alas, we do not ship internationally. Your Order We process your order the day after you place it. Weekend orders are processed on the next business day. Order Confirmation Once you "checkout" and have made a purchase, within 2 hours you will receive an email confirming your purchased item and total cost. If the product is not in stock and immediately available, we'll let you know via email within 24 hours. Changing your Order Unfortunately, once your order has been placed it can not be changed in any way, though you may cancel your order within 24 hours of placing it. Just call us at 212-591-0505 Monday through Friday, 9:00 am-6:00 pm Eastern time. Returns and Exchanges We stand behind our products and our customers. If for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for a refund or exchange. We accept returns within 21 days of receipt of item. We expect items to be returned in the same condition as they were received, with any tags attached. Just follow the instructions on your invoice and pack the items securely. Send your items insured so that if we do not receive the return you have recourse; we can not accept responsibility for packages which we do not ship ourselves. Returns are made on the purchase price and sales tax (if any) of the item, not the shipping and handling charges. Returns are processed within 14 days. Exchanges are also processed within 14 days.
